Acrylic is a strong and reliable material widely used for many years in the production of bath tubs. Extensive tests have shown its high chemical and physical resistance and its durable, non-porous surface is easy to clean and an impenetrable barrier against germs and bacteria. The technology of the double layer acrylic system results in a bathtub with exceptional stability and the production of self-supporting shapes that in the past could only be produced in cast iron. In the DP-DESIGN range all of the qualities and benefits of acrylic are now available in the Freestanding form with several advantages over existing materials.
Compared to a classic cast iron bath with feet , the corresponding model DP-DESIGN in double layer acrylic has the following characteristics:
→ ITS WEIGHT IS ABOUT HALF THAT OF A STANDARD CAST IRON BATH, MAKING INSTALLATION AND TRANSPORTATION EASIER (especially to high floors!).
→ THE THICKNESS OF THE BATH TUB AND SURFACE HOLDS THE HEAT MUCH LONGER THAN CAST IRON BATHS.
→ THE ACRYLIC SURFACE OF THE BATH TUB NEVER YELLOWS OR DISCOLOURS (LIKE OTHER RESIN BASED COMPOUNDS), IS EASY TO CLEAN AND ALWAYS MANTAINS ITS BRIGHTNESS
There are limits when choosing the shape of your bath tub. Double end, single end, Slipper, Double Slipper, Oval, Rectangular etc. Choose the right bath for you combining it with the colors of your sanitaryware and making sure to add oringnal DP-DESIGN accessories: Drain, Overflow and Traps in chrome plated brass and legs available in chrome, gold and white.
WarrantyAll of our bathtubs have passed rigorous tests regarding temperature, weight and strength of the welding joints. For these reasons we can offer a 5 years warranty against all manufacturing defects.
